Starting in 2018, Little League® International Board of Directors will formally adopt USA Baseball’s new standard for bat performance testing. Developed by a USA Baseball committee of scientific experts, Little League Baseball® has decided to adopt the new bat standard for mandated use effective January 1, 2018. Little League-approved bats can be used through December 31, 2017, and all current bat regulations will be in effect until then. That includes the moratorium prohibiting the use of all 2 ¼ inch barrel baseball bats constructed with composite material in the barrel, unless approved. Visit LittleLeague.org for detailed information.
Check this link for updates on approved bats for the 2018 Season.
All fields are OPEN.

As our official little league season ended on September 31 and our new season began on October 1, we would like take the time to say thank you to the board members that have fulfilled their duty to the league and will be stepping down. It's volunteers like yourselves that continue to provide an enriching sports experience to our children. As a league and a community we say thank you:
With that being said we have a few spots to fill on our board of directors for the upcoming 2018 season. If you are interested in volunteering for an open position, please contact EFLL president, Dale Huss.
EFLL friends & families, as you may have already heard we lost a long time volunteer and friend yesterday. Steve Macchia has been involved with EF for over 15 years. He served as a coach, board member and umpire for many of those years. If you had the opportunity to talk to Steve then you know he loved the game, enjoyed giving his time freely to East Fullerton and was simply an all around great guy.
We would like hold a vigil in his memory on Field 1 at Chapman Field Monday night starting at 6:30pm (we will be there for a while so stop by anytime after that). You are welcome to bring candles, flowers, pictures or just a simple story about Steve. There will also be a donation box set up for the Macchia Family. Umpires are welcome to wear their shirts and players/families are welcome to wear their jerseys or EFLL shirts/hats. Steve deserves so much for all his years dedicated to our league so let's show our appreciation for him.
Please direct any questions you may have regarding the vigil to Ruth West - firstname.lastname@example.org
Monday, September 18. 6:30pm Chapman Park Field 1
