    Rookie and T-Ball Field Day - Saturday, March 20 @ 9am

Please have volunteers plan on being at Chapman Park at 9:00 am on Saturday March 20, 2021.  (Face coverings and social distancing are appreciated.)

We will be performing general field maintenance efforts such as; cleaning up base lines, removing crabgrass from dugouts and fences, cutting the grass, painting foul lines, picking up trash, restocking supplies and dragging the infield areas (flat blade shovels, hoes, rakes, and gloves are desirable).

We understand that these duties are not desirable for many people, but we ask that each team make every effort to provide at least 3 adults to help, as more assistance equals shorter time performing duties.

    Sincerely,

East Fullerton Little League Board of Directors

Fence and Field Day - Saturday, March 13, 2021

Fence and Field Day is the day we use to prepare for the upcoming baseball season by installing foul poles and temporary outfield fencing (drill/drivers and 9/16”, ½” and ⅝” deep-well sockets are a necessity).

Additionally, we perform general field maintenance efforts such as; cleaning up base lines, removing crabgrass from dugouts and fences, cutting the grass, painting foul lines, picking up trash, restocking supplies and dragging the infield areas (flat blade shovels, hoes, rakes, and gloves are desirable).

Some of it can be physical, but there are several jobs that are fairly light duty and even appropriate for children 8 and up, as younger children can lose interest quickly.

We understand that these duties are not desirable for many people, but we ask that each team make every effort to provide at least 3 adults to help, as more assistance equals shorter time performing duties.

Please have volunteers plan on being at Chapman Park at 10:00 am on Saturday March 13, 2021.  (Face coverings and social distancing are appreciated.)

Maintenance is generally completed by 1:30 or 2:00 pm.

    Sincerely,

East Fullerton Little League Board of Directors

    Safe Sport Law

In 2018, the "Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and SafeSport Authorization Act of 2017" went into effect by the Federal Government. Generally referred to as the SafeSport law, this national law makes it a crime for an individual involved in a national governing body sports organization, including Little League, to ignore, or not report to law enforcement, any reason to suspect an act of child abuse, including sexual abuse, within 24 hours.

The requirements that are necessary to comply with SafeSport are included in the Child Protection Program Policy.

We are committed to adhering to all requirements of the SafeSport Act:

    1) We will report all acts of Child Abuse, including sexual abuse involving a minor, to the proper authorities.
    2) We have adopted a policy that prohibits retaliation on "good faith" reports of child abuse
    3) All volunteers shall complete the Abuse Awareness training provided by USA Baseball and SafeSport

Per Little League International's Regulation 1(c) 8 & 9, as part of the Child Protection Program, we conduct background checks on all board members, managers, coaches, umpires, and other volunteers who have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Little League International at 570-326-1921 or support@littleleague.org.
